Chore

Sacrifice does not have to be

a chore.

It can actually be one of

the funnest things

you'll ever do.

The Secret

The day you were born, you

were endowed with nothing,

if not pure potential.

The secret is that,

every day of your life

represents nothing,

if not the opportunity

to use that potential

however you choose.

But ultimately

how far you go

doesn't matter.

It's where you end up.

Moving Fast

Deciding

that she could be

the most important person

will have you

holding off the physical side

for those few important months.

Growing,

moving faster and deeper in knowledge

and love of each other, collecting those

sacred moments when your hearts

grow together first, while others,

too busy

moving fast to the bedroom,

wake up a couple years later

next to a half stranger.

Memories

Frank the yellow fish

had a short memory.

he loved the ocean,

swimming to new places

new corals, new friends.

At the end of every day,

he'd remind himself.

When these memory fade away,

make sure that they are replaced.

Standing bare-foot

Even though I'm half oriental

I get asians mixed up all the time.

and turned to check myself out.

When my reflection didn't move,

I realised it was just another asian guy

on the other side of glass.

Water Fight

Today, I had a water fight

with the kids in the park.

Obviously I won.

No one's a match for me and my kettle.

Every year

there seems to be a new record set

for the latest over-sized tasty food.

When will it stop?

at this rate, by year 3000

how big will the record dish be?

Cloudy Days

I think in living in England

Teaches you to be happy

no matter the weather.

Because if you wait

for the sun to come out

to be enjoy yourself,

Walking farther than ever before in his life,
